Acceptance

By using Choply ("we", "our", or "us") — our app, website, and services — you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use Choply.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Choply. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian review these terms with you.

Account

To use certain features (e.g., saving recipes, posting, following), you must create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep your profile up to date.

User content

You retain ownership of recipes and other content you post. By posting, you grant Choply a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the service (e.g., showing recipes in the feed, on the website). You represent that you have the rights to post your content and that it does not infringe others' rights.

Recipes and content from other users are provided for personal, non-commercial use. Do not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit them without permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Harass, abuse, or bully other users
• Spam, scrape, or use bots in ways we prohibit
• Circumvent security or access controls
• Violate any applicable laws or third-party rights

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

AI-generated content

Choply uses AI to help you turn photos, text, or voice into recipes. AI output may be imperfect. Review and edit generated recipes before using them. You are responsible for the accuracy and safety of recipes you publish.

Intellectual property

Choply's name, logo, design, and software are our property. You may not use them without our written permission. We respect intellectual property and respond to valid takedown notices.

Disclaimer

Choply is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that recipes are accurate, safe, or suitable for your needs. Cooking involves risks; use your judgment. We are not responsible for outcomes from using recipes or content on Choply.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Choply is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $100 if you paid nothing).

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or for other reasons at our discretion. Provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g., disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive termination.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new terms and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. If you disagree, stop using Choply.
